ANTIPOLO CITY — TNT finally returned to the win column on Saturday after picking apart Terrafirma, 121-90, in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at Ynares Center here.
The Tropang Giga rode the hot hands of import Cameron Oliver, who put on a show with 26 points and 15 rebounds, helping the powerhouse club improve to 4-4 just before head coach Chot Reyes and some of its players leave to backstop the national cage program for two Fiba games slated next week.
“Coach Chot let me play my game. I wouldn’t say it’s really a show. It’s just how I play, you know, to make a shot, make sure I attack the rim a lot, make sure I’m an inside-out player instead of going outside in, and be dominant where I’m really dominant at,” the American import said shortly after the contest which kept the Dyip winless this conference.
