MANILA, Philippines — At least 21 families or 72 individuals were displaced after a fire damaged 10 houses in a residential area in Caloocan City on Sunday night.
In a report on Monday, the Caloocan Central Fire Station (CFS) said the fire started at around 7:43 p.m. in a house along 127 Josefina St. on 3rd Avenue, Barangay 120, Gracepark.
The Caloocan CFS identified the owner of the house where the fire started as Morita Rano Cañete, but occupants, cousins Kent John Cañete and John Kenneth Cañete, were at the house when the fire broke out.
“Magpinsan po ‘yan… si Kent John po and nakausap namin na naiwan sa bahay… 26 years old,” CFS Senior Fire Officer 1 Arnold John Hurtado told Inquirer.net.
